OTA updates

Update the firmware on your ESP32 agents over the air, without a USB cable.

  1. Connect to the same network

    Put your Android phone on the same local network as the ESP32 agent.

  2. Check for updates

    In the WakeLink Android app, open the agent and tap "Check for updates".

  3. Wait for the reboot

    The ESP32 flashes the new firmware and restarts. Keep it powered until it comes back online.

Update from the CLI

wakelink ota desk https://wakelink-project.org/downloads/wakelink-esp32.bin

Replace desk with your agent name. The CLI verifies the SHA-256 checksum before flashing.
