Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using WakeLink, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
WakeLink provides a cloud relay service for sending Wake-on-LAN packets to devices behind NAT/firewalls using ESP32-based hardware with end-to-end encryption.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must not use the service for illegal purposes or to violate any laws
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or devices
- You must not abuse the service through excessive API calls or DoS attacks
4. Service Availability
WakeLink is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
5. Limitations of Liability
WakeLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
6. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page.
7. Licensing (Open-Core)
WakeLink is open-core, not fully open source. The EWSP protocol, the ESP32 firmware and all client applications are open source under Apache-2.0. The hosted core — the relay server, this web app and the supporting services — is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0: free to read, self-host and modify, with the licence only restricting offering it to others as a hosted/managed service and tampering with the licence key. The enterprise billing add-on is commercial and requires a paid licence for production use. See the License page for the per-component breakdown.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal remedies.
